Established in beautiful downtown Bar Harbor, Maine in 2019, Salt & Steel is the first restaurant collaboration for owners and fiancées Chef Bobby Will and Kimberly Kraus. Daily sourcing of the freshest local produce, meat and fish from Maine’s master purveyors will ensure a unique and exciting experience each time you visit. Mixologist Brittney Salisbury and Sommelier Brad Haskel have carefully cultivated an extensive list of wine and mixed a delicious list of craft cocktails designed to perfectly complement your meal and highlight Maine’s seasonal flavors. “The name Salt & Steel was derived from the most basic tools required to prepare food: salt for flavor, and steel for preparation. From this simple idea came the basis for the restaurant’s entire concept: source and gather the most local, seasonal product available, and use it to provide our guests with the beautiful flavors of Maine in an imaginative and innovative presentation.” - Chef Bobby
